Summer re-cap and a Homecoming

I realize that I have been silent for much too long but the simple fact is, there wasn't much to write about. Vale was gone for the summer... off gallivanting with Grandma and Grandpa, leaving me here to do a little playing but for the most part A LOT of WORK! Work has been crazy for me all summer, working 12-hour days which doesn't leave a whole lot for play.

Now that Vale is back, there is no excuse not to blog or to be doing other things. Vale came home on Saturday, and we went straight to the barbershop. His hair was so awful...really, that wasn't the reason. I knew that since it was Labor Day weekend that Saturday was probably the only day I could get him in with the barber before school started. I also knew that if we went home, we weren't going to go either, so we went straight to the barber shop!
